PACIFIC SEAS AQUARIUM
The Pacific Seas Aquarium at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium explores Pacific Coast marine habitats from right in its backyard in the Pacific Northwest all the way down to sunny Baja California. Visitors can see turtles, jellyfish, a giant Pacific octopus, and fish of all shapes and sizes then learn about their new aquatic friends through touchscreen interactives, videos, and more. CREO partnered with design firm, Studio Matthews, and fabricated wall graphics and monitor enclosures seen throughout the aquarium, the “Wave of Change” timeline, as well as several interactive exhibits including the “Home Sweet Ocean Home” play kitchen, “Be an Ocean Champion” flip panels, and photo kiosk where visitors can become one of the underwater creatures in the mural.
