Walking Through Time
Classmates is a company that connects high school alumni through online services. CRĒO worked with Interior Architects to fabricate and install a playful representation of the high school environment. CRĒO specifically provided supersized yearbooks used as architectural elements to create space and branding within the Classmates corporate office environment. The Yearbooks chosen were from high schools in the Seattle area, with the potential for this concept to be modified by location. CRĒO fabricated yearbooks from rolled metal or custom cut wood substrates which were overlaid with custom printed vinyl images for the covers and pages of the yearbooks. There were special hardware elements incorporated so that some books were actually doors or hidden cabinets.
