POSITION SUMMARY:
As an R&D Fabricator, you will report directly to the R&D Manager and assist in conducting research and development activities to drive innovation, improve existing products and processes, and develop new products. You will closely with cross-functional teams, including metal fabricators, specialty fabricators, project managers, and site supervisors, to achieve the company's R&D needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and executing research projects: Design and implement plans, experiments, and protocols to address specific company objectives.
- Willing to continue to learn new technologies to meet company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with colleagues from different departments, such as Fabrication, Paint, Tech Design, Project Management and more.
- Foster effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation: Document research procedures, results, and project progress.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Fabrication experience
- Experience using shop tools
